Model 370 / 375 These rugged, compact scanners combine incandescent lens-on lamps with selenium sensors to provide the best in color sensitivity. There are no knobs or operator adjustments. Simple construction consists of only the basic components. The reflective 370 and the transmissive 375 both operate on +5 VDC.
Model 377 Using dual sensors and sophisticated optics, this scanner was designed to detect small, fast moving registration marks. The output may be treated as an open collector or as a logic level output. All adjustments and indicators are located on the back of the unit. 377 Data Sheet (pdf)
CONTROLS
Model 400 This universal control is compatible with most packaging machines, regardless of manufacturer or design. By arranging jumpers, output can be varied from a simple relay closure to more complex advance/retard differential control. Reset can be through a machine-operated switch or an internal timer. Model 401 This simple, economic control incorporates the basic requirements of a photoelectric switch. In response to a scanner signal, the output completes a circuit to ground. A DC supply will operate most 24 VDC relays. Jumpers permit the Reset and Synchronizing circuits to operate with a high or low signal. Model 402 This panel-mounted 1/4 DIN control provides the essential circuits for two-way (advance/retard) registration. Separate timing circuits permit fine control. Manual switch allows override of automatic operations. The 402L is compatible with most photoelectric scanners. Model 802P One-to-one machine driven timing for advance/retard (802P) and retard-only (804P) registration systems. Converting the machine cycle into rotary motion, Selector Switches have long-life non-contact interrupter modules. These photoelectric devices monitor the cycle and determine the need to adjust the web/film speed for registration control.
