Pharmafill(TM) BCV1 Ensures Smooth Release for Accurate Weighments
Wall, NJ: The Pharmafill(TM) BCV1 Bottomless Conveyor from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), automatically captures bottles from a conveyor and seamlessly transfers them onto the weigh table of a checkweigher to support, accurate, automated weighments. Set upstream of the checkweighing machine, the novel bottomless conveyor features dual hugger belts that gently grip the bottles and guide them onto the checkweigher with the proper centering, orientation, and bottle spacing needed to achieve high accuracy. Weighing errors due to bottle misalignment, vibrations from upstream equipment, or clumsy transfers from upstream are eliminated.
Suitable for transferring plastic, metal, and glass bottles to the checkweigher, the bottomless conveyor accommodates filled and empty containers as small as one-ounce dropper bottles and as large as 10-inch diameter tubs, as an option. The versatile hugger belt conveyor may be widened and narrowed in seconds to fit different bottle diameters and an adjustable height lift stand may be added as an option to precisely match the height of the checkweigher.
The Bottomless Conveyor is manufactured at Deitz Company’s Wall, New Jersey, headquarters and may be tested on the company’s in-house testing/training packaging line. A full warranty is included.
