Pharmafill(TM) CS1 Cotton Inserters Use Proprietary Technology for Extra Speed
Wall, NJ: The Pharmafill(TM) CS1 cotton inserter from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), features proprietary bottle handling technology that enables multiple cotton inserting machines to be linked in series for faster production rates and increased capacity. Included at no extra charge, the proprietary index timing technology automatically controls and directs the flow of empty bottles from a conveyor to two or more of the company’s cotton insertion machines. As cotton is being inserted into a bottle, the air-controlled index timing system releases a second bottle to a second machine, a third bottle to a third machine, and so on to as many machines as are needed to meet the desired production rate.
Devised for pharmaceutical, nutritional product, and other manufacturers interested in fast production, the cotton inserters linked in series increase the cotton insertion speed from 88 bottles per minute using one machine to 176 bottles per minute using two machines. Multiple cottoners may be linked to match nearly any desired filling and packaging line speed while maintaining 99.99% accuracy.
The cottoning machines are controlled via a touch-screen HMI for easy setup and operation and include stainless steel construction with an adjustable height lift stand, all set on casters and leveling pads as standard. The automated cotton inserters are designed and manufactured at the company’s New Jersey headquarters and delivered with a two-year warranty.
