For Lot Traceability, Deitz Company Offers Novel, New System All-In-One

Wall, NJ: Packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), has introduced a new Bottle Bottom Coding Package (BBCP). Devised to ease, speed and simplify the process of printing serial numbers, lot codes, recycling logos, and other information on the bottom of bottles, the Bottle Bottom Coding Package integrates a choice of inkjet printer or laser marking device with the company’s Pharmafill(TM) BCV1 Bottomless Conveyor as a tandem delivered ready for installation. The clever coding package automatically accepts the bottles from a standard conveyor, grips them between dual side belts as the bottom drops out, conveys the bottles over the coding system for printing or marking, then releases them downstream without slowing, stopping, rotating, diverting or otherwise disrupting the flow of the bottles.

Ideal for food, pharmaceutical, nutrition, cannabis, and other manufacturers, and contract packagers, the BBCP sets the printer directly underneath the hugger belt conveyor to share a compact footprint and help open space in or fit seamlessly into existing filling and packaging lines. The bottomless conveyor may be easily adjusted in width and raised or lowered using its optional adjustable-height lift stand to accommodate a wide variety of bottle shapes and sizes and ensure precise placement over the printer or marking device.
