Pharmafill(TM) PS1 Packserter(TM) Accommodates Wide Containers, Changing Line Speeds

Wall, NJ: The automated Pharmafill(TM) PS1 Packserter(TM) desiccant inserter from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), features a new Bottle “In” Time setting. Devised for automatically inserting packets into tubs, pails, bottles, and other wide containers, the Bottle “In” Time setting enables packaging managers to add a signal delay that prevents the automated fault detection system from false triggering if the large containers block the backup sensor. Filled containers as wide as 4-1/2 inches in diameter or wider based on the conveyor width move freely and smoothly downstream without interruption.

Included as standard in the company’s latest HMI, the Bottle “In” Time setting also prevents slow line speeds of 40 bottles per minute (bpm) or slower from false triggering the built-in, high speed fault detection system. The Packserter(TM) desiccant inserter may be set to match line speeds of up to 100 bpm by simply adjusting this signal delay time at the touch-screen HMI.

The desiccant inserter is designed and manufactured at the company’s Wall, New Jersey headquarters with stainless steel in product contact areas, a variable height lift stand to raise or lower the desiccant insertion machine, and casters with height-adjustable leveling pads for easy movement and stable operation. A full warranty is included.
