With Gentle Airflow, Pharmafill(TM) HT6B Heat Tunnel Helps Cut Plastic Waste

Wall, NJ: The Pharmafill(TM) HT6B Heat Tunnel from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), features proprietary temperature control technology that enables tamper-evident packaging professionals to heat seal downgauged shink bands and sleeves without scorching, melting, wrinkling, or otherwise overheating. Using gentle forced air with a combination of convection and radiant heat, the heat shrink tunnel raises the internal air temperature to a preset level and precisely directs the heated air at the bottom of each neck band, then gradually raises it to the top of the neck band while maintaining uniform heat distribution throughout the tunnel length. Shrink bands downgauged from 200mm to as thin as 0.35mm exit the heat tunnel at speeds up to 100 containers per minute perfectly sealed with graphics and perforations safely intact.

Ideal for contract packagers and food, nutrition, pharmaceutical, and other manufacturers interested in cutting packaging material waste without compromising shelf appeal or security, the heat tunnel features stainless steel, double-wall construction and a heat-resistant entry curtain that maintain a consistent temperature and keep as much heat energy inside the tunnel as possible. The heat tunnel automatically seals tamper-evident neck bands in all shrinkband materials and comes mounted on an adjustable-height lift stand with floor levelers as standard. Companion heat-resistant conveyors are also available.

The heat shrink tunnels are designed and manufactured at the company’s New Jersey headquarters and delivered with a two-year warranty. Testing is offered on the company’s in-house testing and training line with a variety of band materials and thicknesses to verify performance.
