Pharmafill(TM) HT6B Heat Tunnel Seals 90-Degree Corners

Wall, NJ: The PharmafillTM HT6B Heat Tunnel from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), automatically seals tamper-evident shrink bands onto rectangular cartons. Ideal for sealing plastic bands onto OTC medicines and pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, foods, and other consumer products packaged in cartons, the Pharmafill heating tunnel features proprietary technology that offers the precise temperature control required to shrink bands onto challenging 90-degree corners without crushing the corners or warping the cardboard. Cartons exit the heat tunnel perfectly sealed and structurally intact with the proper amount of film shrink tension at speeds up to 100 containers per minute.

Suitable for a wide range of rectangular cartons from one inch to 14 inches high, the versatile heat tunnel includes a series of built-in adjustments as standard to accommodate different containers, shrink band materials, throughput targets, and other factors. The temperature at both front and rear, conveyor speed, blower intake, air blades, and inner baffles may be individually adjusted in a variety of combinations to balance the heat, airflow, and dwell time as needed.

The heat shrink tunnels are designed and manufactured at the company’s New Jersey headquarters and delivered with a two-year warranty. Testing is offered on the company’s in-house testing and training line using customer cartons and bands to verify performance.
