Powered Turntables Orient, Load Bottles, Jars Onto Conveyor for Packaging

Wall, NJ: Pharmafill(TM) TT Series powered turntables from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com) enable packaging professionals to automate the feeding of delicate glass containers into filling and packaging lines without concern for breakage, tipping over, or bottle to bottle contact. Set upstream at the start of a filling or packaging line, the rotary turntables automatically unscramble the standing bottles, jars, vials, or other glass containers, orient them into a single column, and gently meter them one at a time onto a conveyor for movement downstream.

Suitable for loading empty containers for filling and sealed containers for end of line packaging, the automated turntables free workers to attend to other tasks for improved labor utilization while also providing a steady, consistent inflow of containers that keeps downstream machinery running without interruption. The stainless steel turntables are proven in hundreds of installations for loading pharmaceuticals, beverages, condiments, cosmetics, and other products in a wide range of containers from tiny dropper bottles to half-gallon mason jars and one-gallon jugs.

The rotary turntables may be set to either clockwise or counter-clockwise to suit any line configuration and the feed rate may be adjusted on the fly to match the required line speed. The turntables are manufactured in the company’s Wall, New Jersey, headquarters in a choice of top plate diameters from 12 inches to 48 inches, and in custom sizes as needed.
